We have been overwhelmed by the number of great applicants eager to open their homes and hearts to a kitty or two. With the high volume of applicants and limited staffing, we appreciate everyone’s patience as we try to keep up with the current demand for adoptions.

NOODLES

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Female, 9 months

Adoption Fee: $385+PST

Meet Noodles! SheLOVES affection and to cuddle. She follows you around waiting for you to sit down so she can come over and get some pets and scratches. She is curious and likes to explore but is also happy to play with her toys or have a nice sleep in the sunshine. She was more timid around the larger, more energetic dog in her foster home, but was curious about him and would come to sniff him, and also couldn’t care less about him. She did well with the toddler and child in her foster home, and had no problem being picked up by them and snuggled. She would be fine in a home with a cat-savvy dog or cat. She loves to play with her brothers (Thunder and Lightning who are also at Catfe!) and loves playing with string toys that she can chase! Any family would be lucky to have this little sweetheart!

THUNDER

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Male, 9 months

Meet Thunder! He is here at Catfe with his siblings Noodles and Lightning, and he is extremely similar to Lightning, both physically and purrsonality wise. They are almost twins and you would barely be able to tell them apart! The only difference is that Thunder has 2 white whiskers and a tiny bit of white on his tummy amongst almost all black whereas Lightning has more white. Thunder is definitely an adventurous one and LOVES to play! He’ll play with his siblings, toys, blankets…pretty much anything. He loves to run around and he loves food! He and Lightning constantly switch their food plates and compete on who can finish their plate first! He loves to purr and loves his back scratches on his lower back by his tail. He raised his fur a bit when the big/energetic dog in his foster home approached him, but once the dog sniffed him, he would cautiously inspect the dog. He loved to play with the kids in his foster home. Thunder would thrive in a home that wants an nice balance of adventurous/playful cat who loves to play with other cat-savvy cats and dogs, and also likes to sleep with you at night and loves some affection.

LIGHTNING

Meet Lightning! He is here at Catfe with his siblings Thunder and Noodles, and is 100% the most rambunctious of the group! He LOVES to play and chase strings or basically anything that moves. He seeks adventure and is a very curious cat. He loves wrestling with his brother Thunder but also loves to sleep and cuddle with him. He has quite the purrsonality and it’s so fun to watch! He LOVED the bigger/energetic dog in his foster home who charged into their room wanting to sniff and play with them, and Lightning just came running over and rubbed all over him. Lightning tries to play with his tail and chase it. He definitely doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything or even nervous for that matter, so would do great in a home with a playful cat-savvy dog or cat. He’s a squirmy little thing so usually can’t be held onto for long. Now that he’s a bit older, he will sit in your arms for a bit and is a bit calmer but is definitely a cat that loves to play. Lightning would be great in a home that’s looking for a spunky, curious, and playful cat!

MABLE

Mable is a quiet and gentle cat. She likes to relax in her favourite window and cat tree. She takes a while to warm up to people but loves neck scratches once she gets to know you. She has had five kittens so she is used to being around cats. She has not been around dogs but she probably would not do well due to her cautious nature.

MARSHMALLOW & SMOKEY

Meet Marshmallow and Smokey – a pair of sweet, bonded sisters looking for a forever home where they can stay together! These two are inseparable, cuddling and keeping each other company 24/7. While they may be a bit shy at first, all they need is a little patience! They are super dog-friendly, and never bit or scratch. They LOVE water, drinking and playing with it! The girls are are motivated by treats, and once they trust you, they’ll be purring machines! They're small, sneaky, and full of energy, so be prepared for some playful hide-and-seek moments and late-night parkour sessions. Their favourite toy is their laser pointer and chasing each other for hours wrestling. They are truly the sweetest, funniest, and most entertaining girls. If you're looking for a pair of adorable, affectionate, and playful kitties who just need a little time to adjust, these two are the perfect match!

MAVIS

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Mavis is a super sweet cat who loves affection. She can be shy at first, but once she trusts you, you will have a friend for life. She enjoys having her own space, and will come snuggle with you when she is ready. Mavis is a fantastic fur baby who is looking for a loving forever home.

BELLA & ELLIE

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Female, 5 months & 6 months

Adoption Fee: $720+PST

Bella and Ellie are pair of bonded buds who love to sleep together and play with each other throughout the day. Bella loves to explore, cuddle, and wants human attention. She likes to meow whenever she needs additional snacks or a meal. She is a fast eater, and always finishes her food from the bowl. She loves playing with balls, and cat wand toys. Ellie is a slow but not picky eater. Of all the toys, she seems most in love with the cat wand toy.

POPPY #2

Poppy is a sweet and spunky little girly pop who’s full of energy and loves to play. She’s a vocal lady who knows what she wants and will make sure you know it!

LUKE & YODA

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Male, 2 years

Adoption Fee: $670+PST

Yoda and Luke are a bubbly, quirky pair. Luke is the softest kitty, and loves to frolic and play - especially in a water dish! When he's done he'll find a quiet spot to flop down in and get some nap time. He's not the biggest fan of being brushed, so will need patience and care to ensure he stays soft and fluffy. Yoda is a big ball of boisterous energy, who loves to chase other cats around, play hide and seek, and nibble your hand when he wants pets! In his foster home, he was a big snuggler, loving to curl up and purr in a lap. They both enjoy stretching out in a beam of sunshine to energize for playtime in the afternoon. This pair of bonded buds is looking for a furever home that will give them lots of love and attention.

NETTLE

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Meet Nettle! She is a deaf little girl with a cute little purr, a big voice, and is very playful!😸 When she first arrived in foster care she settled right in, was very curious checking out every corner of the room, and made biscuits wherever she went. She rests her front paws on the side of the litter box, so an enclosed box may not be the best option for her. She does this little thing when she’s at the water dish, she taps her paw onto it like trying to gauge the depth of it, so it would be ideal to have one with a wide base as she might tip it over. Give her a minute to check out her surroundings, she will settle beside you purring away, and she loves the belly rubs. She does tend to give love bites so would be best suited for a home with cat-savvy children. She is looking for the purrfect home with her sister Lark (also at Catfe!) or with another kitty pal.

CHIA & POPPY

Male & Female, 8 months

Adoption Fee: $720+PST

Chia and Poppy are a bonded brother-sister duo. Chia is the only boy in the litter (their sisters Nigella and Quinoa are also here at Catfe!). He is also the most playful, bravest and laid back. He will have intense zoomy sessions but then go into full on chill mode. He is learning to enjoy tummy rubs and loves to explore new things and toys. This fun sweet guy will make a wonderful companion with lots of continued love and attention. Poppy is the bravest girl in her litter. She is an enthusiastic athlete who loves to play and cuddle with her siblings. Poppy enjoys being petted and will lean right in and start purring. She is blossoming into a fun and confident girl.

NIGELLA & QUINOA

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Female, 8 months

Adoption Fee: $720+PST

Nigella and Quinoa are bonded sisters. Nigella is the fluffiest and was the smallest of her litter (their siblings Poppy and Chia are also here at Catfe!). Her love of food has her catching up to her other siblings and she is now flourishing. Nigella is a sweet and sensitive kitty but also has a fun side and likes to rough house with her siblings. Nigella is learning to enjoy pets and will even purr. She has come a long way and will benefit from continued love and attention so that her true sweet self can shine. Quinoa is a sleek black micro panther except for a distinguishable patch of white under her chin and on her belly. She is the protective big sister and will ensure her siblings are safe before she joins in on the fun. Once she relaxes, she really gets into playtime and cuddling with her siblings. Quinoa was a spicy girl but has come a long way. She will be a cuddly sweet girl in no time with just a wee bit more patience, love and attention.

KIWI

STATUS: APPLICATIONS OPEN

Meet Kiwi, the playful and spirited kitten! Kiwi is a ball of energy who loves to play and explore all day long. She might come across as a bit feisty at first, but once she settles into her new environment, her sweet and affectionate side shines through. Kiwi adores sleeping or resting close to her humans, purring contentedly when you give her a good chin rub. While she’s full of love, she would appreciate it if you avoid petting her lower back (or risk a playful nibble!). Curiosity is her middle name, so make sure your meals and drinks are covered—she’s always eager to investigate! When she misses you or wants attention, she’ll let you know with the softest, most endearing little meows. Kiwi is looking for a forever home where she can play, explore, and snuggle with her favourite humans.

RIVER & OCTOBER

River and October are a sweet pair of bonded sisters. River is a a wonderfully soft and fluffy cat whose gentle nature pairs perfectly with her playful spirit. Though initially timid, River's curious and social personality blossoms beautifully. She enjoys human companionship and brings joy through her playful antics, though she appreciates a patient approach when adapting to changes. River's sweet disposition and social nature with other cats make her an ideal companion for a home that can give her time to build confidence. October is a fluffy, confident sweetheart who loves human attention and never turns down a cuddle. Both girls are wonderful with other cats and cat-savvy kids, as shown by their friendship with their feline friends while in their foster home. October would need a slower introduction to any canine family members. These complementary personalities create a perfect balance – October's outgoing nature helps River feel secure, and together they're ready to share their love with a calm, forever home that understands the special bond between these two beautiful sisters.

GRACE

Meet Grace! This sweet, young mama was abandoned with her five adorable baby boys. Life has been tough for her, but she’s slowly learning to trust again. While her initial instincts might make her cautious, there are moments when she lets her guard down and truly revels in gentle pets and attention. With patience and a soft approach, she blossoms, soaking up affection and warmth. She craves connection and thrives in an environment where she feels safe. Grace longs for a home with a gentle, affectionate hand so she can embrace love and build new bonds.

CAMELLIA

STATUS: ADOPTION PENDING - INTERVIEW COMPLETE

Camellia is a sweet, affectionate, and playful girl. With a curious and intelligent nature, she loves exploring her surroundings, and for some mysterious reason, she has a particular fondness for showers. Though she’s happy to chill and relax, she’s always ready for a fun play session when encouraged. Unfazed by visitors, Camellia is social and adaptable, making her an excellent fit for both single owners and families. Already a mama at such a young age (her kittens Chai and Earl Grey are also here at Catfe!), she’s still a kitten at heart and is sure to bring joy and companionship to any home. Plus, she’s very tidy and does great with the litter box. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, low-maintenance companion, Camellia might just be the perfect addition to your family!

COOKIE

STATUS: ADOPTION PENDING - INTERVIEW COMPLETE

If you are looking for some assistance in the kitchen then Cookie is the right cat for you. Cookie is very professional when she makes her biscuits! Cookie is a delightful and fun cat. She is not a big lap cap but loves snuggles. Cookie has been around young children and has been very respectful. Not tested around dogs, but she was fast friends with her foster family's cat. If you have been hoping for a furry friend to start off the new year then this is your gal.

REMI & WILLOW

STATUS: ADOPTION APPROVED - GOING HOME JAN 20

Female, 2 years

Adoption Fee: $670+PST

These two bonded girls were adopted from Catfe only a year ago, but sadly they had to come back to us recently as their adopters have moved out of the country and were not able to take the girls with them. Remi and Willow are full of so much love and cannot wait to share it with their new family. They take a day or two to settle and feel safe in a new space but then they are so incredibly sweet. Willow is a bobtail (born without a tail) and hops like a bunny when she runs. She loves to burrow herself in blankets and snuggle up to her people. Remi is the more adventurous one out of the two and will always be the first one to start exploring. She loves to sit in the window and chatter at the birds in the yard and as soon as she is done she will jump up onto your lap looking for scratches. These two love to wrestle with each other, and get the cutest zoomies every night about an hour before bedtime. They are also very loyal and always want to be wherever their people are. Willow and Remi are very protective of one another and would do best living without other cats. They did very well with their older, calm golden retriever foster brother previously, but would not enjoy living with a dog who is high energy or does not respect their boundaries. The same goes for children, older children are great but they're not a huge fan of younger, more energetic children who won't respect their space. The girls are looking for a calm and quiet home where they can soak up all the love from their humans!

NADJA

STATUS: IN FOSTER - APPLICATIONS OPEN

Female, 2 years

Meet Nadja, a charming cat who'll steal your heart once she lets her guard down. Though initially shy, this sweet girl blossoms into an affectionate companion who loves nothing more than being close to her trusted humans. Nadja's gentle nature has shown through in her previous foster homes, where she got along wonderfully with a calm dog and a dog-savvy child. A social butterfly at heart, she thrives in the company of other cats, as demonstrated by her playful relationships with October and River, making her an ideal companion for a home with a confident feline friend already in residence.

ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS: All the cats at Catfe are available for adoption. Each cat has been vet-checked, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. We are partnered with various rescues and shelters in BC to source our adoptable cats, and it is our goal to find responsible, loving homes for each and every one of them.

Each cat’s personality is unique. Due to the high volume of applicants and limited staffing, we are only able to process applications from visitors who have met the cat in person. If you fall in love during your visit and would like to apply to adopt a cat, the cat whisperer will provide you with an application form to fill out.

Please note: we are only able to contact the selected applicant for an interview. (It may take a week or so for us to get in touch — please check your junk mail.) If you are not contacted, you can check the cat’s status as it is updated on their profile during the process. Adoption approval is based on the best match for the cat’s needs, and not first-come-first-served.

ADOPTION PENDING: If it says “Adoption Pending” on a cat’s profile, it means we are currently conducting interviews with selected applicants. New applications will be placed on a back-up list for that cat and will only be considered if the adoption is not successful.
